XB Tires As I said earlier in this thread (above), I ordered Michelin Pilot Roads (Darn French!).... Unfortunatly, they are still backordered until OCT 15ish.... Soooo... Desperate for a set of tires I settled for the OEM 207s again..... Darn French!... Now I'll have to go through two rears before I can try something different.... Darn French! kk//kef | ||

I've got a set of the OEM 207's if your interested - they only have 830 miles on them. | ||

XB9, That would mean they're halfway done.... at least the rear anyway.... thanks for the offer, but the bike is in the shop as I type getting re-shoed... | ||

October 15th. That's just a week. Patience is a virtue. Get the Pilots when they come in, get a box of screws and use the Dunlops to ice race with. | ||

The 15th is about when they make it to the states... then it has to get to the distributer, then to the dealer.... realisticly we're looking at OCT/begining NOV.... I have not thy virtue of patience (that long anyway)... Plus, I just got a call from the dealer saying that when they were balancing the rear they noticed that the rear disc was "way warped"... I was shocked because I use the rear brake in conjunction w/the front when braking (almost always)...And I never noticed a thing from the rear... The front had a little shake though... Its under warrenty, so have at it... it will be a couple of days before the parts arrive though.... so it looks like I'm running the CAGE for a few days more..... kk//kef |
