Please Tell me what is the value of 2 diodes and what is the voltage of resistors? |

Any diode will work. There isn't a specific value. All the diode does is allow current to pass in one direction which is necessary when you have a circuit with multiple power sources. |

man, it's crazy to see this thread still getting traffic... this inspired me to post an update: i never have had any issue of any kind since installing the prototype taillight board in the bike. it's still functioning like it did when first installed. also of some note is that i have had several interactions with local and Colorado state law enforcement since installing this setup, and have never received any comment on its legality (that goes for the tail-chop / plate relocate, too). |

I just got back from the Shack buying the VR, diodes and bread board to do this board. Got 150 red/yellow LEDs from ebay for $10. FYI you can increase the view angle of the LEDs by sanding the top down flat. (Message edited by terrys1980 on January 29, 2013) |

nice, man! looks like you did a really nice job cutting that board into the shape needed for a snug fit in the housing. how is it working? happy with your work? |

Thanks. Overall it came out better than expected. At first I thought it was a failed project but I took to work with me offshore and got it working. I have enough parts to build another one with more LEDs. I used the transfer method to get my pattern on a piece of paper with a light coat of grease on the inner ring of the reflector housing. I cut the board with dremel tool. |

I guess this would work on any led tail light? Like on my Bimmer |

Yes it works for any bike. |
