Well my basic thought is since i have my Ulysses back up and runnin again i have time to tear into my lightning, and since im not inseam challenged i would like to have that extra 1.6" of suspension and trade my Scg stuff to someone who could make better use of it... |

I wish I wasnt so damn short I am on my toes every time I come to a stop and a lower stance would be a outstandingly nice change.Plus I wouldnt have to pay a arm and leg to buy the parts if you want to trade. |

Y'all would not believe the difference a low suspension on a R makes! It's awesome! |

Js_buell I havent heard anything yet but if Ulyssesguy doesnt want to trade me I would really appreciate it so please keep me in mind and thanks for the offer. New12r heck a kickstand would be cheap compared to what the whole suspension set up cost and I would gladly throw that in for a lower stance. |

Not trying to rain on the parade. But the SCG is a 41mm fork tube. The S is a 43mm tube. You will need the triples with the forks. You probably know all of this, but I felt it would be worth mentioning. Good luck on the creation and Happy Wrenching! |

Fastxb12r- I sent you a pm yesterday, it must not have gone through... I live Up in Washington and I'm not quite sure what shipping will be to Florida but if your ok with shipping to Wa i'll ship to Fl... Bigredwood- I think that the difference in diameter is the inside diameter of the fork tube and the outside is exactly the same uses the same trees ect... But i'll double check... |

Yep, I just stumbled into stupid. Your right, the outside tubes must be the same on the 41mm and 43mm suspensions. I can not find a single triple that doesn't fit all XB's. Kind of wierd. Trojan horse even sell inserts that fit all xb's. Sorry about butting in. Once again . . . Happy wrenching |
