Is there a how to on this set-up anywhere in the KV??? That is slick and I would love to equip my bike with this set-up. Great job and I, as well as others, appreciate your time/knowledge.

This is 2 months of riding in the summer. The filter was relocated behind the left heal gaurd.

I have a pic of an "el-cheapo" catch can here somewhere...

It uses plastic tubing (in this case green) and a vent filter from the local auto
parts store.

You tie your vents together with a t and the outlet hose from that T is the one you see coming down
from behind the frame. The rest is self explanatory (I hope!)

Oh yeah, be sure to plug the holes in your airbox if you do put in a catch can since that
would be un-filtered air coming in!

for those who don't run a catch can this is the kind of poop that it catches, that would normally go back into the intake.

30 mi trip to work and back...can was empty when i left this morning now 3/8" deep of crud.

this may be a stupid question but what do you do to block the stock valve. and how is it routed under the air box? i am still new to the XB and am a little confused by this. thanks for the help

there are 2 short breathers that are routed into your airbox inside the air filter. you remove the hoses form the airbox and plug and seal the holes. chain the 2 breathers together and run them to whatever kind of catch you are going to use. some just stick a filter on instead of a catch can, but with the amount of splooge that comes out i can't see it being very effective....IMHO a can of some type is a must.

Then some run a breather after the can...correct?
