yesterday I passed a gas station full of jap bikes as I watch them all drop there jaws and frantically scramble out of the parking lot to try and catch up with me. FInally at a stop light I get surrounded as they ask, "What the hell is that thing?" and then follow up with "how many cc's?" , the guy almost threw up in his helmet when I told him 1203, his poor 600 was disgusting him as I power wheelie away...
but my all time favorite is from a coworker that also rides... he sees me pull in on my new XB12S and after telling me that it is badass, he asks how big the robot is that it changes into... he has a thing for transformers |

I get a lot of fan questions. The best was when I was coming back from Tenn to Chicago. I saw a couple of guys looking at it, at a gas stop. One guy walked up to me and said "That's just sick."
I live 35 min from East Troy and still get asked where it is made. |

I love the gas station thing especially since my riding buddies have inline 4 bikes.
I let them fire theirs up and I look around and see if anyones watching, usually nobody.
I used to always say it to my best friend Joey cause he likes to show off. Now I usally save that line for when we have some new chica riding on the back of one of their bikes... "Hey wanna see an attention getter?"
"Uh ok sure"
I fire up my bike and as it comes on I like to blip the throttle so that it comes down off a small rev and has the "Potato potato potato potato..." sound.
Everyone filling gas usually looks around their pump to see what makes that racket.
The girls ask if it always vibrates like that. I just wiggle my eye brows and smile.
Before the trip ends the girls always ask to ride with me. I've met a few of my ex's that way. |

I was in Woodstock, Il yesterday. While walking back to my bike, a guy asked "Is that your Buell?" I told him yes. He then asked, with excitement, "Is that the Blast?" I was a little shocked at first, but then blew him away with details about my Firebolt. |

i stopped by a local dealer the other day. there was a bike show,(a friend was showing his Dyna) a bikini contest, and as much leather and chrome as i had ever seen in my life. the parking lot was PACKED with big twins of every size, shape, and acc'y combo under the sun.
i was on the only Buell i saw that day. my TOTALLY stock bike got more looks than the half-dressed bar-fly that went bouncing by while i was parking it. |

Better yet, how many times have you heard " I think your muffler fell off ! " But the best reaction is when you pull up to a light next to a soft tail or dresser and they do a double take! They heard me coming and thought they would see a bike like theres ! I re packed my RT1 with 20,000 degree kaowool from a blast furnace and the sound is crisp and loud! Love my 12R |

Already got the "headlight out" comment by someone who was sure I did not know.  Lady was actually snotty about it.
Also some older fella in a gas station remarked upon hear of the 1203cc displacement "Shoot I got a 350 Honda bigger'n 'at there. How'd they pack all that motor in that thing?" and "Bet its hard to keep the front end down."
Never heard the Ducati question yet. |

When I was at the DMV to get my endorsement, the lady told me she couldn't let me take the test on my bike since one of the headlights was out. I flipped the switch and asked her if the other one was out now...? |

Hah!! I get the headlight out all the time and I just hit the passing switch a couple times..I dont even try to explain anymore.
I always get the your bike is sick thing. It is a true head turner though. I catch people starring EVERYWHERE I go, and at every light. I feel like a Hollywood movie star, but then I get off the bike and walk away and realize they could care less that I was ever on it, eyes stay fixed on the bike...lol. |

I get asked if it's a Ducati a lot. But that's not my favorite question.
The one I like is:
is that a 600 or a 750? when I tell them it's a 1200 they almost always jump out of their skin! Then they say, "But it's such a small bike" and I say... "Right!" |

I have a guy at work that still calls it " my hot wheels cycle"..LOL
I love it, he rides a slopper and still can';t figure out how EB shoved all that engine in that little bitty frame.

I got one tonight at wall-mart. Decided I needed some smokes so I went for a night ride! Guy comes by me as im smoking and said "hell that sure is a purdy motorcycle, what kind is it?" and I said "Its a Buell firebolt" He said "Sure is tiny, whatcha got under the hood" I replied "about 1200 CC's" he screamed "Holy sh*t" turned to his wife and asked could he have one. She looked at me as though I just stole her ice cream..... I love contributing to the delinquency of the locals  . |

I just got done with a trackday at Barber Motorsports Park... I got no less than 30 questions throughout the day about what type of Buell it is, how I like the CityX (it's an 03, but I've got translucent plastics), how I liked it on the road, how I liked it on the track, wtf is that...lol |
