Should my front rotar already be warped at 6800 miles. When I hit the front break I can feel the wabble. Would this be a warrenty issue? |

I've read many posts recommending a switch to EBC HH or Lyndall pads to help cure the warped "feel." The pulsing supposedly comes from a buildup of pad material from the stock pads. You might give it a try. |

The symptom can also come from very old brake fluid which has accumulated water. It happens,i've cured it on occasion with a fluid flush |

Try cleaning out the brake dust from the spacers and mounting bolts that hold the rotor to the rim. The rotor is suppose to have play or movement and build up of corrosion keeps it from doing this. |

Give the whole rotor a good cleaning to get rid of the deposits. That will fix it for a little while. eventually switch to some aftermarket pads and it will happen less frequently |

Yes it is a warranty issue, if you need it to be. Follow the suggests people have made above. This is a common problem, and not difficult to fix. To summarize: 1 - clean the rotor with scotchbrite (steel wool) to get the pad deposits off. 2 - Replace your brake pads (Lyndal Gold Plus are what most people use. Available at American Sport Bike) 3 - Clean the mounting hardware. It's obviously easiest to do all of that if you remove the front wheel. Though it's not necessary. The new pads take a little while to wear off the deposts, so it will get better as you ride it. |

I just put the Lyndall pads on last night along with a new wave rotor, and its amazing the difference. My old rotor had nasty pulsing on it. Now its all silky smooth, and i did my first stoppie today! |

Yeah my pulsing just started I'd like to say about 500 miles ago. Didnt notice it when I parked it for the year last year and now I can feel it. I'll try the suggestions, and if that doesnt fix it the dealer can replace my stuff under warrenty. |
