"Cougar" - A sophisticated species of female, ranging in age from late thirties to early fifties, who seeks the pleasure of younger males. She avoids the entanglements of a "relationship," in favor of the freedom of the hunt. |

Dont have an 1125 yet. Once the bugs are fixed I'll buy one. Untill then I'm on a GSXR. Turbo on an XB is interesting, guy on here had done it but hasnt been back (been about a year now i think). When you plan on coming up post up here or PM me so the few of us around here can show ya some of the roads. |

I am still skeptical that he got the FI worked out on that turbo XB. I would just carburete it to avoid the difficulties of using the XB fuel injection, which does not even have a MAP sensor. |

Where there's a will, there's a way, Ridr. I'm sure someone of your vast motor knowledge could figure it out. |

I don't think anyone here doubts that 200MPH is POSSIBLE on a XBR (as I said, where there's a will, there's a way) - only that it can be done with the mods you've noted (which it can't, pure and simple, and those more knowledgeable than I can explain the math to you). It takes an enormous amount of time, money, and expertise to get a lumpy Harley engine to propel hundreds of pounds through the atmosphere at almost a third the speed of sound, and what you've described just isn't close, sorry. I give you props for your enthusiasm, but given your descriptions of your and your friends' riding habits, kindly stay the hell away from me. I mean that in the nicest possible way. =D |

dont worry you would even see me coming and i would be passed you before you even knew it...and it does not take a huge amount of money and time to get it there...especially if you just do it right! we will all meet and everyone will see my bike run like i say it does..im also already pulling the motor apart to rebuild low compression and slap my turbo on it...the tuning for fuel and the fuel press. riser reg i am actually having done by my buddy who builds race buells....i dont have a dyno so im letting him take that. |

Bolting up a carb is straight forward. Plug the injection ports, replace the throttle body with a carb, change the fuel pressure regulator to something that will not blow out the needle/seat assembly. You need to get the right size carb for the CFM of the engine, you need to be able to dyno tune or have a good ear and read spark plugs, and you need to fabricate all of the necessary adapters, modify the ECM harness, and I'm sure there are other details you'll run into that I'm not thinking of right now. Your turbo conversion will take much more work and ingenuity. |

What's a "what not?" Does my bike have one? If so do I need to have it serviced? (Message edited by J.ramsey on July 08, 2008) |

What's a "what not?" Does my bike have one? If so do I need to have it serviced? ~~~>JRamsey Yeah, it needs to be replaced with the elbow grease and headlamp fluid - except you can skip the headlamp fluid on a Firebolt because it'll just go bad again in a couple thousand miles. |

The connection to the ECM and WHAT NOT was NEVER approved. The connection to the ECM and the Whatnot is approved but ONLY by HD/Buell-trained mechanics. Doing so without training will not only void warranty but can lead to severe injury or death - or worse... a preference for okra. |

i dont have warranty i can care less about warranty as soon as you change exhaust on a bike you void warranty unless you buy from the dealership which i dont because you never find better prices at the dealer i will figure it out but any information makes things better |

I'm going to the store to find some elbow grease so I can check my blinker fluid, I was told the reservoir is located next to the muffler bearings. |

There is a TSB for muffler bearings on 2003 models. Make sure you get the ones with the orange seal. |

so... no one has yet seen this bike even exist, or run. now you are saying that it is so extremely fast it is already torn back apart so it cant be seen or run with any other people around. hmm. makes you wonder doesnt it... no, it actually it doesnt make me wonder. it doesnt take much to figure out that no one will ever see this claim backed up with actual proof. odds are no one will ever even see the bike or watch it run. no matter how fast something is, there is always something faster around. my bets are i can go to the shop where some friends and i build bikes and grab the one and only bone stock factory spec bike sitting there and never even need to take it out of first gear in a top speed race against whatever you would like to do to yours. i can bench race too, it is fun as long as it kept in the realm of reality. difference is most on here know i can back up those bench races.
