Can the traditional Potato - Potato sounding exhaust be achieved with a XB9? What if I made custom straights and purchased a race ECM? Thanks William |

1) Replace FI with single carb. 2) Use "wasted" spark single coil ignition system. 3) Attempt combustion on intake stroke due to 45 degree crank. 4) Turn idle down to 600 RPM. Results: A) Potato-Potato-Potato. B) Engine damage due to lack of lubrication (600 RPM insufficient for proper oil pressure). C) Reduce HP down to about 45 HP. D) Enjoy! There's a reason they don't potato-potato anymore... Paul in MI |
