It's hard for me to believe after 7 years of racing Buell's! Our team (Eastside Harley Bellevue Wa.) Finished WMRRA's 8hr "Superbike shoot-out" Without a hitch. No oil leaks no problem. The only thing that slowed us down that was a problem was our aftermarket belly pan broke a bracket. Our team took 5th in our class and 17th overall. We just bearly finished ahead of the team from Downtown HD. They were about 5 laps down from us. These new Buell XB's are excellent bikes as proven this weekend! 8hrs of continuous riding around a roadrace course is tough for any bike. Moonman |

That's great news! Are you guys using a chain conversion or the stock belt? |

Scott: CONGRATULATIONS. . . I'd say you've been amazing folks with your Buell riding long enough to qualify for legend status! Good work! Court |

By the way....will someone from the Pacific Northwest please jump in here and introduce Scott Moon. Buell has many new faces over the past couple years and Scott has been in the thick of Buell racing, doing the marque proud, since my first trip to the Northwest. I'll let the crew from the 'hood finish the tale, but I wanted to let some of the folks reading this know that this is great news about the 8 hour race and to hear it from Scott. Court |
