Stripped the hex nut on the front forks (the ones ou have to loosen before you can remove the axl)

Any ideas? Never been down this road before.

I have heard a rumour that this is a left hand thread? Check with Cyclone1.

the pintch bolt are normal thread , the front axl L.H.

Kc, did you loose the hex head or the thread in de fork ???

If you're real careful, you can use a Dremel cutting wheel (or even a hand metal file) to put a cut in it, then use a standard flat blade screwdriver to remove it.

There are two bolts next to each other. They normally share the load. Make sure that the one that's not stripped is tight when you are trying to remove the stripped one. The tight one will take some load off the other one. With socket head cap screws, I've had some luck by pounding in a slightly over sized wrench. Good luck.
