Anyone in the N. California area know of any shops that work on Buells? I live in the San Jose area and the Buell dealer I go to is garbage.

I want to have some work done to the bike (Drummer exhaust, powder coat the headers, replace primary cover and gear cover, and paint the frame) but all I have found so far are sport bike shops who look at me in a confused way, and a few hard core chopper shops who I know laughed at me behind my back as I rode away.

As I said before, the dealer is the pits, and at this point I have no shop to take it to for any repair/work I need done. I am not mechanically inclined what so ever (first bike) and I wouldn’t trust myself anyway. Thinking about selling it soon because it’s more trouble then its worth to keep the headaches.

The only Buell friendly (at least in the parts and service departments) dealership I know of is Golden Gate HD/Buell located in Novato.
They have a bigger shop in Corte Madera that usually has a Buell or two on the floor but they're not as Buell savy when it comes to parts & service.

Peninsula HD/Buell, Buell of Valejo, Devil Mountain Buell are the shops I know to be pro Buell from American Sport Bike Nights - I'm really liking the Folks at Devil Mountain right now.

Try Peninsula HD/Buell, they have a tech there who works on only Buells (name escapes me right now) and is an enthusiast.

Early on my XB9 broke a a valve spring, the work was covered under warranty, the quality of the work was excellent. It was a complex repair and everything was put back together perfectly.
