I just put a custom chrome clutch lite on the wifes bike, it was a cake walk to install, took about 15 mins, cost about $45 shipped. I have the Soft Clutch from Trojan, and they feel the same. I think I like replacing the ball ramp better than an extender. However both are easy to do and work great. Reduce clutch pull by 40%. |

Go with the powerclutch upgrade, it makes a huge difference and takes about 15 minutes to actually do the disassembly and install. Very noticeable difference in clutch pull (at least on my xb12), cheap at twice the price IMHO, and the Pazzo levers look way better than that MX stuff anyday! |

Treadmarks is it like the ones I posted or different also did it bolt right on with no other mods?I am also thinking since seeing the americansportbike product I might do the lever and if I dont like that I can just do the americansportbike upgrade.I have a friend with a stunt crew and they use these clutch levers so I could always sell it to him if I dont like it.I am more interested in if the lever will fit the bars diameter and any issues with the install such as extra parts it might need.Also what are the diameter on the bars I have a 05 xb12r?Thanks for the info in advance. |

I have the MSR raptor setup on my bolt. It is very easy to install. The perch is a two piece unit so you do not have to move anything, except getting the old stock perch off. Be aware if you go with the shorty lever it is a two finger lever. The nice thing about that setup is if the cable gets a little slack and I am feeling lazy I can adjust at the perch and wait on doing the actual adjustment on the cable. |

Fast I have the MSR Pro Raptor Adjustable Clutch Lever Assembly-Shorty in the second pic. It has a slip fit bushing that lets the yolk spin on the bar if if forced, in case of dropping the bike or mirror smacking. It fits my factory uly bars perfect and has been on for over 15k miles without a problem. Makes for an easy adjustment too. |

So do you think it would be overkill to do the raptor lever and the clutchlite that teddagreek posted I mean it would only be around $100.00 for both. |

Read the article By Al that Semirgdj has linked too and you might want to consider a new cable. I replaced my old clutch cable with the newer one with teflon and this was an improvement. |

I didnt think the clutch pull was that bad. I broke half mine off at a Talladega track day low side. It is a two finger shorty clutch now! |

There was a HUGE difference in clutch effort between my 2000 M2 Cyclone and my 2006 XB12Ss. The Cyclone was "pure Harley" and my left arm would be in PAIN after an hour or so of bumper-to-bumper traffic (typical where I live, especially when crossing the bridges). The XB12Ss was a breath of fresh air. It still isn't fun getting stuck in traffic, but at least I don't have to ice my arm at the end of the day either (okay, that's just a LITTLE exaggeration... I never iced my arm with the Cyclone either). I understand Buell made some significant changes in the '06 model year to greatly improve the clutch and transmission and it shows. My XB12Ss shifts more like a sportbike instead of "clunking" like a Harley. |
