i gotta be honest carl at this point i'm not a fan, that may change. maybe it's the angle of the pic or the white throwin me off, but the angle on the tail just looks wierd(like a backrest), like the geometry of the bike is lost. don't get me wrong it's your bike and if you like it who cares what we say. i would like to see it after paint. keep us posted |

I think it's sweet. I saw that when I first joined badweb and I've been waiting to see a finished project... |

Its always amazing to me when someone does something to there ride and say what do you think and he gets nothing but laim jokes.Either you like it or not.unless im wrong I dont think he said hey let me hear all the weak jokes you can make about my bike I worked so hard on.I like it it doesnt look like every other jerk on the road and remember most people hate what they cant have or do.Keep doing what your doing. Also Br8knnex is that a gauge face you made on your computer or did you buy it somewhere? Also how and what are you going to do with the paint on it if your painting it. |

Br8knnex: that is totally sick! Love it, I was thinking of doing the same thing with mine, just couldn't mind a monocoque unit without the crazy scoops that go half way down the front of the bike. Are you going to keep the rear brake reservoir stock? Now that it's out there you've got a chance to do something crazy with it. Did you do some custom fabrication for those R clip-ons? I wanted to use those clip-ons instead of the crossroads as they have a little more aggressive position, but without some type of stand off I couldn't make them fit my S. Once again, totally sick! |

I think it would have a more finished look with a seat pad to break up that smooth form, will there be a seat pad? |

There's a lot to be said for unique styles and doing what you want. Good for you. I'll be interested in seeing it painted and how you finish off the tail. I'm interested in your headlights. Did you buy those or make them? I'd appreciate any comments on the source, brightness, installation, etc. |

That's some nice handy work. Looks like you put a lot of time and effort into that. Nice job! I really think you need to paint it black with a white stripe down the center! |

fastxb- the gauge is one a friend of mine did on his computer. I just had it printed up and installed it today. i am really happy with it.as for the paint i really want to do camo, and leave the front fender and rear hugger gloss black. Bad thing is i have a bike show that i would like to enter this sunday, so it will be satin black for a little while, plus then i can ride her a bit. flatline- this was a monocoque, i hated the front scoop things they did so i cut them off and used the stock airbox. i will be changing the stock reservoir for on of those one piece master cylinder/reservoir. i had to cut up my stock windscreen sides/mounts to run the r bars. it was def a head ache but worth every min. i love this riding position. jeff- I made up a seat pan and just finished shaping the foam. the guy at the shop said i will have it by friday, so i am excited to see how it looks. i tried to do it my self, but lets say upholstery is not my thing. Caperken- http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/325985.html?1199463526 tedda- yeah it was a pain in the ass. i had to cut the tape off the wiring harness move some wires around make up brackets, etc. its tight in there now, but everything fits good. Thats what is the street fighter look if you do a search on the web about street fighter you will see many tail going up like this. BTW nice job I like it and can't wait to see it finish |

Nicely done. The tail rocks: full-on Euro fighter style, man. We don't have much sreetfighter cred in the USA. Shame, considering the XB's potential. Especially when the cool aftermarket parts are made on the continent and unobtanium here. (Thank goodness Trojan Horse has a good selection in the UK) |

I like what your doing. Not my taste but it looks great. Especially like all the wiring and electronics tucked up under the tail section. Love the knucks in the gauge face. I can't wait to see the finish work. |

WoW! Good luck at the bike show. Don't forget to post up pictures of your trophy...as if you would! I like how you changed the "tank", I never was real fond of those scoops either. Nice work. Camo? Urban (black, white, gray) or forest (green, beige, brown) or some other combo? |

update. I have the windscreen and chin all painted up. they look good. the tail/tank i have 2 coats on. I like the satin look, it gives the paint just a hint of a shine. i also have the seat back, it doesnt look great do to my foam carving skills. i will rock it for now, but will be making a new one in the near future. i am hoping to have her all buttoned up friday/saturday. i will keep you posted. this paint scheme will be changing to camo, maybe.

Very cool! I'm not too much on the streetfighter look, but I love the ingenuity, and I really like the gauge cluster! Can you give us some details on what paper/plastic you printed that on? Keep up the good work! Ben |
