I have no issues with comfort. Only thing I'd recommend is a Laminar Speed shield to break up some of the pressure on your chest. Otherwise, it's my favorite bike to use on the annual Ramapo 500, a two-day, 500 mile backroad road rally with an overnight campout. Considering that it's about 75 miles to the start point from my house it works out to a 650 mile weekend too. Awesome "Do it all" motorcycle. I just wish there were available locking hard bags for it. Right now I make do with a set of Dowco soft saddlebags. About half the price of the Buell bags with the same (maybe more)capacity. |

They are fine I have many 200 plus mile days and I know guys on this board that have doubled that and not a problem I did however put a touring seat on mine really just to lower it an inch, Good luck withit if you get it |

1300 miles in 3 days on the xb9s, no problem. Granted, it's a little different, but I'd say go for it. |

+1 on the Laminar! I also put a Ventura rack on. It will take a soft bag or you can put a removable trunk on it. No problems with high mileage days. Although I have got a Sargent modified seat on the way Have you checked out the new XB12XT? I took a demo ride on one and it is impressive! |

Most I've done on my SS was about 400 miles in a day, it was fine with the standard seat. The STT seat hurts after about an hour. |
