well they did make the R for a year longer than the S didn't they? But I would think that there are more S's out there than R's seeing as how buell keeps tweaking the s and making several different variants and by contrast they are slowly getting rid of the R model. | ||

I wouldn't say they are getting rid of it yet...It stills sells VERY well. I think this is a regional question. Sales of any given model are not uniform across the map. | ||

I have never seen an R on the street. Maybe its where and when you ride that have given you your statistical results. Sampling errors. | ||

well for my part it in the for sale section that I see more R's then S's. Before I decided to go brand new I was looking at a used one and could almost never find a 12s used for sale but there was plenty of R's |
