I was putting some new cables for my new headlights (i'll give pictures later) and now i don't know where goes the cable that comes from a tank... that one:
Where does that cable go and where does it end thanks |

Its just a vent hose. Runs through the empty groove you have in your air cove and then out where its not in the way. On California models it connects to black fuel vent canister |

Gas overflow...Run it run to where it will not get kinked. My runs down one of those pair grooves and down through the frame. |

I have the canister on my 12S. Can I remove it and run the line somewhere out of sight, or will it cause the bike to run funny? |

It will make a slight lean-cough just off idle on SOME bikes if the CaliCrap is removed. You can find a suitable replacement venthose from NON-california models in the parts book under, ironically enough, the California Model parts. Your current vent hose will not be long enough. On that fuel tank vent hose, there's a plastic loop behind the LH footrest bracket that the vent hose fits through, so it's not rubbing paint off your swingarm or flopping in the wind (The last few inches is hard plastic.) |
