Check with Diablobrian he has a shifter for his disability. He should be able to steer you in the right direction. |

I might know a little about this. Air shifters as noted usually do not shift down. Solenoid shifters are not always positive shifting. They lack torque. I have a shifter made by translogic in the UK. While it is pricey, it shifts positively and has an ignition interrupt on it so that up-shifts are clutch-less. It operates via high speed linear actuator sourced from the aerospace industry. I operate it by push-buttons by my left thumb. The kit I got also has a digital dash unit, lap timer, and shift light Other than a blown fuse that was completely my own fault my shifter has not failed me. http://www.translogicuk.com/index.htm If you, your cousin, or anyone else want to contact me about modifications for disabilities please feel free to PM me any time. |

Thank you all for replying. Looks like that the electric shifter will be the way to get Jerry back on a bike. and also on an XB. |

I don't know if lean is an apt term either, with the shape I'm in (round is a shape!) |
