They won't protect from being dented. The pucks work the best. |

For some reason I thought I saw these up at Appleton HD this winter. You may want to ask Andy. |

The pucks didn't help in my low side.... Thats pretty out of the norm. The pucks in most cases even on the race track they do the job intended. As for the Free Spirits full carbon protectors??? You can't get them here in the US. I had a pair and they were a PITA to install. They didn't fit right and I could tell they would do the job. |

Bads1 thats funny you posted one of the pics I posted was your bike from buellxb.com but it was to big to post. I talked to a few there sledge1 found some on ebay for 200 but it was only 1 set... Why the hell do ppl not produce these in america I have to order them from overseas pay for shipping and our weak dollar to get a part for my american made bike makes tons of sense. |

Check E-Bay Item number 320251096835. It's a completed listing by seller "eastcarbon". If you were to e-mail them, I don't doubt they'd sell you a set for a reasonable $$. Please note that they are in China and the set shown looks to fit the small framed bikes. |

Those parts look nice -- but honestly carbon is only good a abrasion resistance for this application, and if you need more abrasion resistance than pucks can provide your bike isn't gonna do better with those. If you really need carbon to fit the look you want go with the carbon pucks -- add sliders and your bike will be the best protected from what you can protect it from that it can be, IMO. Still, a nice looking part -- man, I wish you could get a carbon/kevlar frame/swingarm replacement for an XB -- I remember when the made those for metric bikes. Expensive but pretty! |
