My sentiments EXACTLY BadS1... I just have to sell a Shotgun for $750 and take care of some debt that Harley doesn't seem to like and I'm all set . The main thing was finding insurance. I hear that Buell has reclassified the Firebolt though?? Maybe it's classified as a Lightning now?? I seem to remember reading that somewhere and when I gave the ins. company the VIN it came up as a "Lightning XB12R". I figure if they'll insure that VIN at that price though I'm in like Flynn... |

Fernet.com. 1-800-391-8144. I may be able to get another quote from a preferred company though which may be lower so I am still looking but so far that's what I have. From what I hear that quote was from Dairyland as Fernet is just a broker. |

Well, I may be able to do that but I had a few "issues" with my insurance company before (Farmer's Insurance) and had to move to one of the non-preferred insurance companies. I have been keeping it up for a little over a year now and have my current ins. broker looking into getting me written through a preferred company so we'll see what happens . |

Sickening. I have two more years riding experience than you, Mookie, yet your insurance through the same provider is 1/3rd mine. You have at least one reason to be happy you're 30! LOL Bryan |

I was always a bit nervous when my insurance agent gave me 3 more years riding experience to get me a lower rate. After I totaled my X1 progressive was real quick to cut a check and never looked into anything. |
