It seems like I need to give it a lot of gas to get the beast moving. I guess I could be a little more in depth. I can ease out the clutch and I can inch forward no problem. But to get here to actually go it seems like I need like 2000 maybe 2500 or more RPM to be able to fully release the clutch and go. It just doesn't seem right. Could it be a plug issue? It almost seems to chug at low rpm pretty much below 3000. Any advice would be great. Until I can figure it out I will just keep the RPMs up which is a bonus. LOL |

Are you coming from an Inline 4 bike? Remember you are only getting 2 power strokes per rev because of the V twin, add that to the non symmetric firing pattern and you have a much different animal when compared to a inline 4. I think you need to give it some time, you will learn to adapt to it and make smoother. |

I actually had problems with my bike kinda like yours. It would stutter and die on me if I didnt rev it over 3k RPMs when taking off, when the motor was cold. How many miles do you have on the bike? A TPS reset fixed my bike. |

I have 6600 on the bike and I had the tps reset at the end of the last riding season. It was about 55-60 degrees out when this happend. My travel is about 20 miles. I will see what happens when it gets warmer. |

try running some injector cleaner though it? If you think about it, idle speed is 1050 so 2k (to me) sounds pretty normal. When pulling away from a stoplight, I have to feather clutch anyway to avoid hitting the car in front of me. I guess that first gear ratio is tall. 2500 is probably what I rev to without thinking about it. |
