Three other buddies of mine are going to drive from Ann Arbor MI on Saturday 13th and stay overnight somewhere in Indianapolis (don't know yet - any suggestions?) then attend the MotoGP race on Sunday and head back. I ride an XB12S, another friend rides an MV Agusta Brutale, another one a Honda VFR and the last dude a Suzuki V-strom 1000. Let me know if any of you guys are interested in meeting up and joining the caravan on Saturday. Cheers |

My B-in-law and his 2 sons are riding up from Nashville on Friday and riding back Sunday afternoon. When we get a little closer we can see about some plans. We have infield passes with parking (friends are nice). I'll be riding my ST1300 and B-in-law probably one of his BMW's or his side-hack. Later Neil S. |

My girlfriend and I will be riding there as well, not sure of any details yet, however. We live in Columbus, OH, so will probably just ride out for the race and return, since it's only a few hours away. We rode out for the F1 races two years ago and had a blast. |

Me and two guys I work with will be there. I don't know all the specifics as I am not the one planing the trip but I know we are tagging along with another group of guys from New England. I think we are then heading the real long way back so that we can Hit the Dragon. I have a feeling I will be real sore by the time I get Home haha |

Neil, Sounds good, I'll update this thread as we get closer to the event. Do you recommend parking permits or is there enough free good motorcycle parking outside ?? Donutninja, Maybe we could hook up before and/or after the race (I'll post our seats #s). Punkid8888, Sounds like a nice ride, but I am afraid it's a bit out of my way for now. I will do the dragon one of those days, most likely will trailer the bikes down there. Again I'll post my seats # and see if we could hook up before/after the race. Cheers |

I really don't know the set up at Indy for the Moto GP so I can't say what is best. My tickets come with the infield access and parking (I think). That's all I know today except I have my motel reserved. |

I LIVE IN SPEEDWAY,INDIANA GUYS,big suggestion, get a room NOW! There aren't that many hotels in the track area . MANY hotels in the Downtown area, but not many around the track itself. I would suggest Brownsburg area, its a 5 minute ride from Brownsburg to Speedway on I-74 ( Brownsburg is west of Indy) and its close enough to have all the amenities, yet outside of the city. <PARKING> There are lots around the track, but they fill up FAST.MOST find a good place in the neighborhoods near the track and park in someone's yard. The closer you get to the track the higher the rate. Average is $20 per car, less for bikes, probably around $10. My In- laws live 3 BLOCKS from the track and would be happy to park you. ALSO THERE IS A PARTY BEFORE EVERY RACE AT MY IN-LAWS, 3 BLOCKS FROM THE TRACK. PARTY STARTS FRIDAY NIGHT AND ENDS AFTER THE RACE ON SUNDAY, WE COOK-OUT, WALK GEORGETOWN ROAD AND GENERALLY HAVE A BLAST . ANYONE WHO'D LIKE TO CAMP, PARK OR COME TO THE PARTY CAN DO SO, THEY HAVE ROOM! CONTACT ME FOR DETAILS!!!! Space GOES FAAAAST so make arrangments with me as soon as you can! THERE WILL BE ADDITIONAL ROOM AT MY HOUSE AS WELL. I LIVE ABOUT 10 BLOCKS FROM THE TRACK. CONTACT ME I CAN HELP!!!! If coming from out of town I'd also recommend staying in Brownsburg, Plainfield, or Avon. I can't wait for the race! You know those are 3day passes right?! Why not make a nice extended weekend out of it? |

Only a couple of hotels in the Avon Area, Plainfield has a bunch off of I-70 though. |

Myself and a friend of mine from work will be coming. I'll be on an XB9R, he's on an SV650. I have family in Indy and north of Indy by an hour, so I'm good as far as places to stay. But, I might have to hit up that party, and possibly do some riding with you all. |

Spooky_pooky, here are our seats info Stand: H , Section: S12 , Row: R , Seat(s): 1-4 We are most likely going to hit the road on Saturday am and maybe hit the party at Expatriate ?? Expatriate, Your proposition is awesome, so can we count on parking space for 4 bikes at your in-laws and join the party? Lastcyclone, Big group of riders, we should meet somewhere (maybe at Expatriate's in-laws party - Sorry Expatriate I am selling your in-laws's party but you made it public first Kowpow225, I thought the tickets I bought were for race day only? Are you saying all tickets are 3 day passes? Track95ker, check this thread often, and try to meet up. Jandj_davis, Sounds good, most likely Expatriate's party and some ridding maybe Saturday? Cheers |

Post an address for "Expatriate's in-laws party " I'll put it in the GPS and run it by the rest of the crew. Bring your cameras, I'm certain this will truly be something to be remembered. |

I haven't bought my tickets yet, and am wondering what/where is the best ticket? The race is on our wedding anniversary and we are making a full weekend of it. so we will be in town for the 3 days with some other friends. We would like close parking if we can't get on the grounds on race day too. Any help would be great. Thanks |
