Do the CityX and Uly use the same handlebars? Will the CityX/Uly bars fit an Ss without changing the lines? |

no, the cityx and uly have different bars. You could probably get away with using the cityx bars without doing the lines, but you would have to get longer lines for the uly bars. |

I have an SS. I got both the CityX/STT and Uly bars. I originally was going to do the Uly bars, but it looks like I will need to change everything, so I am going to put the CityX/STT bars on instead. They are about the same height, but they have the cross brace, which is what I want. I will report back once I get it done. |

i just put ully bars on my scg and to do it right, you need all the cables... some have done it by rerouting the lines, but for a hundred bucks and an afternoon of labor, mine looks factory.. |

Did some experimenting on my new TT with some old, much higher Honda bars. Only had to reroute the brake line which was easy to do. Decided to try a set of ROX 2” risers and the original bars. Though a little lower, this looks much better than the Honda bars, but still had to reroute the brake line. The rerouted brake cable doesn’t look bad, but is not stock. I can remove the risers, reroute the brake line and make the bike look stock in about an hour. Should the need arise, there is enough wire harness and clutch cable length to add another 1” riser, but will have reroute the throttle cables behind the ignition switch box. My guess is by rerouting I'll gain an inch or more. |

Are the CityX/STT bars higher or wider? I couldn't tell looking at them side by side. I am looking to maybe make my SS a little more 'ergonomic.' Froggy were you wanting the bars just for the cross brace (I'm assuming to mount a GPS or something) or also for a higher bar? |

04buell put the Uly bars on my Ss and it must not have been a real complicated process because I don't remember him complaining about it much. The bars are just higher enough that I sit straighter in the saddle and I don't feel as if the weight is all on my wrists any longer. Mrs 04buell |
