Is 40k on a 2004 XB12 High miles. If I buy the bike what then should I be cautious off. Thanks |

Well, most say it's high miles. My 05 XB9SX has 44,900 miles on it. What you could check for is the maintenance being done to it. |

40k is nothing, I had a friend with a 1995 GSXR-1100 with 76,000 miles, and my brother's ex-father-in-law has a 2004 Electra Glide Classic with over 110,000 miles so far. I think his ass has become part of the seat..... |

i have a 04 with 23k on it religous maintenance and tons of mods as well as two kids and self employed and live in nh i can easily see 40 k in the right part of the country just look into the care the bike has recieved |

One of my good freinds has an electra glide with nearly 80,000. I just rode it the other day and its as smooth as a new one. He is big on maintenance which I think is the most important thing for longevity. |
