Besises the air inlet at the front of the airbox, what is the difference? The Buell website says 2006 and later XB for fitment. Aren't 2003 and later XB's the same EXCEPT the longs and TT because of the frames? Thats what I thought? |

On the 06-08's is the airbox open in any way? |

I'm talkin about just the airbox cover/outer shell. The only difference I can think of is the vent holes in the front, above the fuel lid. |

Oh and to answer your question the late models have no air tube passing through the frame. Gives extra room for a bit more fuel. I think the airbox inners were also redesigned and differ from the 04/05 models. |

correct. 06 & later have the air holes along the front above the gas cap. 03-05 (and the 1125R) is solid. No other differences. |
