Thats too bad... Like the ideal of them being up top like that, easy to dial in etc.. wonder if its something that could be geared up though... |

If you have access to a machine shop, you CAN mount it to the top triple and fabricate a couple angle brackets that bolt to the fairing mount on the front of the steering tube. I considered it but it was just going to be too much work. |

Now that looks like a good unit,, just another 500.00 plus Big ones.. don`t have that cash now for one of them But like the ideal just the same... |

Hmmm... GPR didn't have one for the XB 2 years ago. Looks like they do now. See how they mount it to the top triple clamp. GPR used to be one of Scott Jensen's sponsors and I talked to them a bit about the mounts and at that time, they were considering having to drill/tap into the top triple or having to make a top triple clamp. Worth a call or email. |

here are some of the photos we took with my brownie. ralph gpr I emailed them asking for instructions but I just got some pics.. Looks pretty slick though, Can't tell but it almost looks a bar runs to to the motor mount..

Cool pic - that is NOT the way I pictured it being done. Wonder if that bar is drilled/tapped into the steering head. It would have to be fastened pretty close to the damping bar thingy. |
