Only had about 3/4" slop in it. Now wonder the thing sounded like a bowling ball in a washing machine. I set it at about 7/16" in the middle of the cold spec and now it no longer sounds like it's beating its way out of the case. Just a whirring noise. Of course that will go away when I add a Dummer or Special Ops! Waiting for the plug I ordered and I'll be set the TPS. The heck with the dealer. |

Careful now, you can get it too tight. You mentioned a "whirring" noise. If it sounds like a supercharger winding down when you're slowing down, you're too tight and will cause a lot of bearing wear. |

How difficult is it to reset the TPS on an '07? Noticed you had one, have one myself, been wondering since it's not due to 10K. |

Yeah... be VERY careful that you don't get the primary too tight. Too loose is WAY better than too tight. |
