Author Message   Birdy Posted on Monday, April 28, 2008 - 05:47 pm:        Only had about 3/4" slop in it. Now wonder the thing sounded like a bowling ball in a washing machine. I set it at about 7/16" in the middle of the cold spec and now it no longer sounds like it's beating its way out of the case. Just a whirring noise. Of course that will go away when I add a Dummer or Special Ops! Waiting for the plug I ordered and I'll be set the TPS. If it sounds like a supercharger winding down when you're slowing down, you're too tight and will cause a lot of bearing wear.   Retrittion Posted on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 - 12:21 am:        How difficult is it to reset the TPS on an '07? Too loose is WAY better than too tight.
