Danm, there a lot of good looking bikes here. Jimduncan69's xb looks better in person than any of the photos. I got a chance to see it from behind for a while. Here are a few pics of my 04 12s.

Here is the Buell race bike. Some pretty sick looking street bikes. Good work guys. Love seeing the custom bikes and other Buell's. www.pushrodracing.com
I guess I should say this is a XB9R pumped out to a 1169cc. so technically I don't fit in but its pretty close. (Message edited by firebolt428 on April 21, 2008) |

Gearhead, is that a fix for the R headlight problem?LOL Cudajohn, I can now say with confidence that converting an XB to an 1125R fairing for the street would be a major operation! You'd have to go to the 1125R fairing stay so there would be room for the headlight pods but this would require extensive rewiring and rising the XB instrument panel. Better stick with the XB lights, IMO. Whoa! Got anymore pics of the 1125R fairing mod? Swordsman, if you're building a race/track bike it's really a simple set-up but for the street, see above. I can get you additional pics, pm me. |

THE MULE: Well its done, at least for a while. (gotta save up for a while) You know I can never stop tinkering with my bikes so the oil cooler, Track day wheels and slicks, and a chain conversion are its destiny but for now I am quite happy with the progress.

Looks good. I like the all blacked out scheme and the bar mirrors. Makes me want to get a street bike again... |

My 08 12R in action during MBV. Asute observers will note the front muffler strap attempting to drag the road. This is due to mishandling and over-torque on my part during a Spec Ops install.

Ya I actually just read his other thread. Sucks when you get hurt, but like they say we want to play and at some point we will pay. Ya that cityx is def really nice. Mines more of a rat bike at this point. Next up is going to be to black out the inner parts of my rims and leave the chrome outer lip, new exhaust, rear solo seat. Whoknows may make it a stunter / town machine and get a 1125r |

Josh: The headlights are twin stock hi-beam lights with aftermarket 6000K HID light kits. They are so bright I try not to ride at night because though they are pointed at the ground about 10 feet in front of the bike, it pisses people off because they blind people coming from the other way and light up the rear window of anyone I'm following like daylight. This setup definitely solved the R-model light issue, but I think I went a tad overkill. Oh well, at least I can see very, very well at night. |
