Gorilla has come up more than once.

In my experience, the aftermarket alarms basically suck for the most part. Not my personal experience, but a friends.

Thieves would have such a gut buster they couldn't lift it... Have you ever tried lifting something while your cracking up... Impossible..

I wouldn't think so much of remote start but they do have motion censers that you can mount so that if it moves it will go off or just normal vibration censers.

I know a bunch if guys with Low-Jack on their bikes, including Buellers. I think many H-D dealers have licensed installers.

FYI, Lo-jack doesn't work every where. The local police have to have the equipment installed to track it.

The GPS solutions are expensive, and power hungry. Nothing worse than coming out to a dead battery every few days.

Have posted this before.

Long time ago a mate of mine had a sadistic streak in his nature.

He had a bike he had spent a lot of money on and yet I was amazed to see him leave it on the street at night in a not so good area of his city.

It turns out that he had installed a very loud alarm system on it but had substituted the loud speaker for a capacitor which was placed very close to the ignition switch/loom.

When the inevitable thief tried to hot wire the bike my mate would lay in bed giggling to himself as the would be thief screamed in agony from the high voltage assault on his person.

Never actually killed anyone but he did say that quite a few had an extended sleep beside his bike.
