Hey everyone was wondering if someone could give a detailed description of parts you need and installing a "R" front end on a "S". Seen it done just don't know how involved it is. Do you have to change triple tree or can it be left stock? Different wiring harness? What all is necessary? Thanks in advance for any info. -Jedi |

http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/224809.html?1165884824 I've still got the XB-R front end stuff I described in the following: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/21/ 303054.html?1190600237 If not, then look to eBay soon for the package deal. FWIW - another Badwebber recently asked me about this (excerpt from e-mail): Here's my approximate purchase price for the various parts, based on memory. You can chek with your local dealer to compare with new parts costs. I'll note below my source for each part. XB-R triple top clamp> $65 from BadWeb XB-R handlebar segments & hardware> $50 new from dealer XB-R ignition lockset> $50 from eBay XB-R front brake line> $20 new from dealer XB-R magnesium front bracket> $125 from BadWeb XB-R headlight assembly> $100 from eBay XB-R mirrors> $30 from eBay XB-R windshield> $20 from eBay So I've got about $460 sunk into this XB-R parts collection. I plan to eBay it with $400 reserve and Buyer pays shipping. I'm guessing that new parts cost total would be about $600. Let me know if you're interested. |

Mark, wow sounds like a good deal sorry to say I'll have to pass, no money right now, but I appreciate the list that way I can buy one piece at a time at my leisure. Thanks for the info though. -Jedi |
