Belly pan? Are you referring to the chin fairing over the front of the muffler? I belive it is a T-25 torx bit. |

You can get away with a T-25 but eventually you are going to mess up the screw. |

OOps! I guessed wrong. I knew it was one of the two. For some reason I was thinking it was the 25. Sorry about my misinformation |

There are quite a lot of T-27 fasteners on the Buell. There should be a little T-27 tool in the tool kit, if you have one. I recommend getting a really good quality torx bit, like a Snap On or other profession brand, for the T-27 size and the size for removing the rear pulley, which is a T-45 if memory serves, and is a real toughie to get out. Torx bits are very fragile, and you need a really good bit if you want it to last very long. One of our more experienced brothers, Saintly, won't even mess with Torx fasteners, and changes them out for hex head or allens when ever he removes them. Now that I think of it, I do too!

T-27 is a hard size to find. Most kits come with T-25, which will strip out the torx head eventually. |

T-27 Torx, there is one in your took kit, although I suggest that you add a 3/8" drive Torx socket to your stash or tools. Also, get an oil filter wrench - the oil filters are very thin and will dent easily if you try to use a strap wrench to remove (not so bad)or install (bad). |
