Just got a delivery of the new levers from Andy/Precision Engineering. WOW!!! These parts are nicely made. Looking forward to getting on my XB! Just thought I'd share my view... Kaveman |

I just picked up the Gen II controls myself as well. i love them. Andy even hooked me up with some extra long grip sections because of my big feet. Precision Engineering is definitely a great company. Here's a couple pics for ya.

After a 3 hour ride home yesterday in a freaking monsoon, I came home to a refreshed EX0-1000 Scorpion helmet and new PE controls.
When I woke this morning, they had grown nipples!

Only if the grease has a place to go, it's the place where you want it to go and, you don't over grease them which can cause a REAL mess. In the Tuber days, bushings were supplied out a oil impregnated brass that required little or no external lubrication "Oillite" or something that sounded like that. (IIRC, that's where I first ran into our own Al from American Sport Bike B4 his "American Sport Bike" days) Time2Work Neil S. |

Ah, even through the blurrrrr I can see there is a path to true grease ;+}. But, oil impregnated bronze would be cleaner and MUCH less hassle. Later |
