I paid $25 at the dealership. The service guy asked me why I wanted it done, like it was a very unusual request. He billed for .5 hours labor. |

They shouldn't charge you more than a half hour's labor for that. It'd be $35 around here. Less if I can convince Spidey to 'liberate' the Scanalyzer. Hehe... |

At Hals they will charge you the minimum which is 15 minutes...cost me $18. Anyone charges more & they are ripping you off. |

I was quoted $38.00 (1/2 hour labor)... I used to have the 4000RPM hiccup... It went away about 700miles ago and has not been back... I did change gasoline brands... I was fueling up at a brand-X station in the midddle of my ride... now I wait until I get to some brand name petrol... I've been having good luck w/Citgo lately.... |

Great, I am set up to take my S3 in to Destination HD/Buell next thursday to calibrate the tps and here I read that I better take along some butt lube for my wallet. I guess I better negotiate before I hand over the keys. Anyone have better luck with the next dealer north on I-5? Essjay, Guess it depends on the dealer policy, some might have a 1 hour minimum. I've only had it done once and they charged for 1/2 hour of the usual labor rate. |

Well, I could see going for a 1/2 hour minimum for a 5 minute job, but not an hour. If they want to go for an hour I will think of some other things they can do to fill their time, maybe a timing check. Thanks for the comeback easyflier. Shane |
