I saw these in a magazine.. Has anyone seen these or used them their bikes? Ok its not a "True Antilock", but the concept is interesting. Having locked my rear brake few times on when I was running stock pads.. Running stock pads this might be a good option for the rear brake.. http://www.lifesavertcb.com/home.html

MCN did a test on those things, & called 'em crap !! it's just an air chamber that makes the brakes "feel" spongy and delivers less stopping power. (makes it harder to lock up the brakes) |

WOW. The fact that people actually buy stuff like that is hilarious. |

Couldn't you just not bleed the brakes and do the same thing for free? |

I prefer to learn proper riding techniques, myself. I guess if you had a really touchy setup these could help, but I really can't see any Buell rear brakes needing one.... |

You are actually able to lock your rear brake?? I have never done it on mine. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. |

That is by far the worst Idea ever. I would rather see you remove your rear brake lever. |

The $200 you buy those things for will get you most of the way paid for a halfway decent riding school that will teach you a lot more than how to not lock up your brakes. It sounds to me like there's just a spring-loaded expansion chamber in the thing that muffles the incoming brake fluid. |

Here's a sure way to not lock the rear brake during hard deceleration: disconnect it. Won't change overall braking performance in most situations on pavement. Much cheaper. Works consistently. |

Old_Man, are you being sarcastic or can you really not lock up the rear? Eric |

I never did lock it up - I think it would take a terrific stomp to do it. It is rather anemic - but all you really need. I was being a bit sarcastic. - Sorry! |

Those things are only one step better than putting a couple of tiny holes in your lines. Don't do it ! |
