well i fixed all the drive train problems on my 2004 firebolt now i have realized that the throttle grip sticks, i checked out the service manual and found nothing. this has to be an easy fix; is there a spring that would need to be replaced? thanks, -Ed |

07, just found out why my throttle was sticking. Last year took it in to the dealer for rocker cover replace. After, throttle did not snap back good. Come to find out the throttle cable bracket attached to the throttle body was damaged. The swage for the idle return cable was missing. New bracket is now on order. take throttle apart lube under grip on bar and cable. if that dont work remove air cover and look at the throttle body bracket. From what i hear if engine is rotated that bracket may get damaged. C. |
