hey gang, so I decided i want an 2008 super TT. The dealer just called 5 minutes ago and said there are only 18 2008 super tt's, and they have one of the 18 on the floor which has a passenger kit installed and translucent orange flyscreen and airbox cover. they want 10,850 for the bike. What do you folks recommend? He said the buell rep told him that because they were gonna order me a plain white one with the solo seat (which is what i want). is there truth to this? thanks, jason | ||

I think he's is full of it. If you don't want the seat and rear pegs he's asking over list on it at $10.295 BUT he has it sound like changed out the plastics. I'd look around at other dealers. I know I checked two dealers less than 70 mile apart as saved almost $3000.00 on my 07 Stt Birdy | ||

Definitely call around. Look for other dealers within driving range and get prices. At the very least it could give you some bargaining power. Make some calls to the sponsor dealers. If the savings are good enough it might be worth a long drive. | ||

Yeah, I got mine last April for 9800 OUT THE DOOR...tax, tag, title and all those other stupid charges included. 18 produced? Like for where, your county? He's fullacrapola. Personally, I like the solo seat and number plates (I got a dirt bike) and IMHO the all white looks awesome. Having just one orange colored piece just looks weird to me. | ||

yep, i like the solo seat and all white plastics. wow some of you are getting awesome prices. another dealer (Tilley's) offered 10,295, but i'm waiting to see who's gonna give me the most for my Blast trade-in. the dealers keep pushing the 07's but i want an 08 for the engine improvements that have been made. what dealer are you guys using for the 9800 out the door price? should be the same for an 08 model, yes?
