I was at the dealer two weeks ago to test the XB & get a trade in apprasial on my Sporty. The dealer told me to come back in two weeks for the apprasial because the guy that does it was gone till then. He neglected to tell me that he works Monday through Friday, not Saturdays. I went in today thinking I was finally going to get the ball rolling on a 2004 XB9R but sadly, it's a no go. Gotta get the boss to let me go early sometime this week so I can go in again and hopefully the third time will be the charm. I'm so close I can taste it. It's driving me nuck'n futs, but in a good way  "> I saw a beautiful black XB12S there. The gold (amber?) goes really well with the black. It looks two hundred percent better in person. I almost wish the 12R was in my price range. No problem though. In two years I'll be able to afford a conversion. Wish me well Buell brothers (and sisters), if all goes well I'll have the 9R before the end of the month providing they can have one shipped soon enough. All that's there currently is a 03 model and I believe it got sold today. Thankyou for letting me rant for a couple minutes.
