Buell makes excellent manuals (actually the Harley-Davidson Technical Publications Group) and they are worth the roughly $50 price. Periodically when a person has a problem I'll scan and post a page. I have every manual Buell has published from 1987 to 2008 and Buell has allowed me to be in a position to help. But, I'd never scan a complete manual. Buell did produce an electronic manual in 1996 to go with the printed manual. I've got a case of them here and why the heck they didn't keep doing it is, I fear, the result of politics rather than pragmatism. My wish is to see a system where a person who buys an OFFICIAL manual from Buell finds a product registration code in the book (just like software) and can enter than code and their V.I.N. and have access to the current up-to-date .pdf of the manual with all the known updates. (We have the technology and the ONLY impediment is politics) . . the good news for you is that I don't give up easily. I have a lightning, so it didnt help me too much. But I did win an 03 XB9S manual in mint condition for $7!!!!!!!! yea, SEVEN DOLLARS!!!! (auction details and title had different models, so no one bid on it but me!! I got lucky and it was what I wanted!!!)
