Is the glue hard or is it tacky? What are you going to do with the X? (Message edited by henry_the_8th on February 26, 2008) |

Jaydub beat me to it Try the WD-40. I would saturate a rag in it and lay it over the glue for a bit, checking it every so often. That would be great, just let me know if it becomes available, I'll snatch that little sucker up right quick. (Message edited by henry_the_8th on February 26, 2008) |

Good topic! Ive seen the glue and its looks like a real pain to remove. Has anyone tried to sand it and keep moving up in grip numbers until the luster is restored? The X dosent really make much sense anyways. |

Ustorque, please post up whatever works for you! I'm getting a "X box" this week, and want to ditch the X... |

Use a heat gun or a hair dryer if you do not have one. |
