The only issue I'd have is they may not be all that visible from the front. |

Buell's are not (well, should not be....) squid bikes. Bling lights, pig spotters and neon have no business on a Buell. Yep, just my opinion. |

I agree with X1200r- couldn't see them from the front, unless you mounted them some funky way. Check out CycleGear.com I was just in there store today and they have some LED that if mounted in the stock location would shine toward oncoming traffic, better visibility, same price also. |

I didn't buy those exact lights...but something similar from that company for my bro's bike and they are very bright. Oh and 4cam...I have LEDs installed on my red 9r and it looks sharp. Just my opinion. |

Xl1200r is right LED's are harder to see in the daytime so you want to make sure that they are mounted in a good location. There are too many options that look good and are safe to be taking chances with the cagers not seeing you. If you want something that looks good and is functional you might consider bar end signals. They are pretty trick and look great (IMO). |

I have the Arrow turn signals that American Sport Bike has and they are VERY bright, even in direct sun. There is no question when they are flashing. Not all LEDs are this way so be careful. You also need to have them shining to the front, not just to the sides. Neil S. |

"LED's are harder to see in the daytime " Which is why the new much brighter traffic lights are all LED. |

Put them on if you like them. Who cares what other people think. Imagine if Mr. Buell said. "exhausts are supposed to mount on the side of a motorcycle, they have no place underneath a Buell". Or "The Fuell in the frame has no place on a Buell." hahaha! Just do a good install so it doesnt look like crap or tacky. Anything to get attention from other motorists I think makes you a little safer. So is it led turn signals, or fame mounted led lights that make your bike a squid bike? Or is does it have to be the combination of both?????????? (Message edited by sgthigg on March 02, 2008) |
