What the hell is a fuel map... I had a Gixxer back in the day (CARBURATED), Now a Die Hard BUELL Fanatic.. Can I adjust it and can I make my bike perform better for 100-110 degree heat without hurting it.... Thanks for da help. |

Fuel map is just the electronic settings for fuel injection. How much air, fuel, etc. I believe you need a device (Power Commander?) to interface with the bike that would allow you to change those sorts of settings. I have no idea how to do that, but hopefully that makes sense as to what a fuel map is. |

You need ECM SPY (free)and someone that knows how to tune it or get a custom map done with direct link. Power Commander will only add or subtract fuel but I don't believe there is one available for Buell. |

Talk with AL at American Sport Bike. He is the god of all things mechanical... |

Your current ECM already adjusts for ambient temperature. If 100-110 F is in our out of spec I don't know (we use Celsius so Fahrenheit doesn't really make sense to me). But check the spec for the bike. With ECMspy you can actually tune how much the ECM should adjust for temperature, but I don't think that there are anything to gain from that. /Björn, Sweden |

Adjusting the spark tables and fuel will help with hot weather riding. ECM Spy will do this. Not sure if Direct Link can. 100-110 is 37-43 Celsius. The big issue with these bikes under these conditions is pinging under heavy traffic conditions (stop and go using low rpms) |
