I know ya'll were just having a thread about handlebars, but I'm wanting a more aggressive feel out my my 9S. Thinking about replacing the seat and handlebars (which are still stock). I would like a lower seat position and a little more of a sports bike feel to the handlebar positioning. Anybody have any ideas for something that would be simple to change out?

Flyingpenguin86... You might consider a seat from a Lightning Low, they come up for sale here from time-to-time (or you can still order new from Buell) and for bars try the Crossroads 0 degree bars. I'm running both of those and like them.

I have the Crossroads as well, trust me, they're what you're looking for.
I don't have a low seat though, I went for the Firebolt tail section.
Used to have the Street Fighter seat, it's a nice one as well.

I just finished installing my Crossroads 0 degree bars today. I had been using the Protaper SE Carmichael bend. The Crossroads are definitely more aggressive and sportbike feeling. Depending on your hight and leg length, you can also try swapping out your stocks for Firebolt pegs. I tried that but got too cramped on anything more than a cross-town trip. The pegs are cheap enough that you can get a set and try them.

And swap back and forth.
I've ended up staying pretty much with the R pegs though.

Clubmans bars are an alternative to the Crossroads.

One of our brothers, Trac95ker makes a very nice set.

I use Tomaselli adjustable Clubmans that give me a nice position on the bike, but, like many custom bars, they require custom risers. I have them set up forward like the R bars, but several inches higher for comfort.

Like Glitch, I have an R tail.

Glitch...Borrowedbike... yeah, the 750cc two-stroke triple. Mostly stock except for a set of clubman bars and FPP pipes, less than 4k miles. These days, a set of NOS pipes (if you can find them) will set-you-back almost as much as the original bike did when it was new. Downside is... doesn't like going around corners at all! Sorry, way off topic now!

I have the crossraods and Euro fighter seat from Trojan. Very nice setup, much more aggressive feeling compared to stock.

Crossroads zero degree are aggressive enough for track days, but fine for the street too.

Thanks for the compliments. The seat, tail-end, and seatunit all came from Trojan. The tail-end is the Champion tail unit. I am very happy with the way it turned. Someday I will get the wheels done in orange and have the frame and forks done black.

Bike looks cool Skarecrow : )

Another new handlebar option is the Free Spirits 'Cafe Racer' clip on bar kit. This includes a new CNC billet top triple tree with brackets 'ready spaced' for the headlight/instrument assembly, and comes with clip on bars and shorter brake line.

Alternatively, we used the Crossroads 54mm clip ons on top of the stock XBS triple tree for our cafe racer conversion a couple of years ago, along with the same seat unit that Skarecrow is using.

If you go down the 'clip-on' bar route then you will probably need rearset footrests in order to retain some degree of comfort and to get the riding position correct.

My girlfriend has a spare Lightning low seat she'd probably sell you if you decide to go that route. I bought her another seat with only a couple of thousand miles on the stock one.
