If you do get a blue CityX soon, let me know. I am in the market for the blue airbox and flyscreen. I want the grill too. I do have a brand new set of white and a used set of sunset orange plastics available if you want to trade. |

Jstrain - if you do get a Hero Blue CityX, please let me know if you'd like to trade plastics. I have a set of the "custom" lightning plastics, but I really want the Hero Blue. Would be willing/interested to trade my silver wheels for the blue ones as well... And/or, I'd buy your handguards and grill! |

I'll let you guys know about the plastics trading, but I don't see myself being able to afford one until at least early summer I've definitely gotten the bug though! I love these bikes. |

Jstrain, In early summer i should be in northern VA with a 06 cityX. plastics already swapped for black, rims swapped for amber, and suspension swapped for SCG all 'round (wifes bike) has less than 2000 miles on it and can part with it for 5500.... seriously consider something like this before buying new |

yea, it got it for a excellent deal too. Im sure someone will find it to be exactly what they are looking for given the seat height, i often wonder why they have a short 12 but not a short 9 given that it tends to be a more forgiving bike. Mostly i convinced my wife she wanted it because i knew it would save me a bundle to steal its black bits. She LOVES it but wants a house more... |

yup owned one, but the only difference was a seat, not suspension. |

Jstrain, I live in south jersey and am selling my 2006 Hero Blue City-X. It has 13000 miles on it and it is in great shape. I have always used it as a sport tourer. I am selling it for 5900.00 along with the drummer exhaust, race ecm, and k&n filter. It is a very extremely reliable ride and has never let me down. Let me know. tankhead10@hotmail.com tanks (Message edited by tankhead on February 25, 2008) (Message edited by tankhead on February 25, 2008) |

Thanks for the replies guys. Like I said, outta my price range now, but if anyone still has something for sale in a few months, thats a helluva lot cheaper than $8k + for a new one. I'll keep those replies in mind and hopefully get back to you if you're still selling later on. |

Hey Jack, the 03 9SL does have lower suspension as well as the seat. You can tell the L apart because the rear shock spring is yellow (same spring as on the 12Scg), whereas it is blue on the non-L. |
