I have been on my 2003 XB9R firebolt since well 2003 was going to put the newer belt system on it and some other stuff..but than decided maybe I should just save some time and get a newer bike...Was thinking of getting a 2008 XB9SX. Was wondering what people think of it with the newer oil pump, new fuel mapping and tranny and other changes over the years from my 2003. I would go down to the dealer and ride one but they dont have one. So looking for some imput. I will be commuting 12 miles each way on the freeway for work... |

The transmission is the most difference you'll feel, that and the riding position. The trans difference between the two is huge. i'm going to put the 0 degree xb crossroad bars on it. You'll love 'em, I know I do. |

Newer belt system? Got any info on that? I'm about to buy an 03 XB9S, would be interested to see what kind of downfalls there are with it, I haven't heard about the belt thing yet... |
