...does this bike look familiar? http://www.triumph.co.uk/usa/Street%20Triple_5353. aspx I am pretty sure the XB*S came before the egg here but I could be wrong. Interesting none the less. |

Love the look of the Speed Triple and Baby Speed. Especially like the roulette green color. Only thing that bike needs is an underframe shorty exhaust. |

Hmm... the only similarity I see between that and an XBS is.... they are both streetfighter bikes. If you're commenting on the twin headlights, that is a signature of the Triumph Speed Triple since it's birth in 1994. It was one of the first, if not the first, streetfighter bikes. I've always like the Speed Triple. The Street Triple looks just as good as it's big brother, but that ugly cancerous growth over the headlights would have to go. Much better. |

The 1997 T509 Speed Triple was the first year to sport the familiar dual headlights, the original had only a large single headlight. If I was about 6-10" shorter I'd have bought the Street Triple over my Uly. |

The street triple has a non adjustable front suspension which I don't understand other than that I don't hate it but I have never ridden one I really like the speed triple but its to tall for me and doesn't handle nearly as well as even my SS |

The Street Triple is £2000.00 ($4000.00) less than an XB12, makes more power and I fit on it very nicely! Yes I'm considering one, but probably won't let the City X go. |

Speed triple. The first real bike I ever rode. I still to this day dont know what in the hell my friend was thinking, letting me take his brand new speed triple out, with no experience. Ever since I have been hooked |

I will stick with my 12R -- though I would own a 675 as a more dedicated track bike. I like Triumphs, but I like Buells more. A classic cafe racer would be cool too. |
