Hopefully I'm posting this in the right place, if not, please hang in there with me. Have a chance to get a new, 2007 XB12TT out the door except taxes for $7695.00. The bike has the double seat and rear footpegs put on it and all the plastic has been done in black. Nice looking bike. I've ridden behind a shield for years and am also questioning if not having one will be too uncomfortable. Sure looks like a fun bike though and that is what it comes down to. Thanks |

sounds like a damn good deal to me! Compare that to used 2006 model XB12's selling for just $1000-1500 less. If you are serious about buying you should jump on it. (Message edited by bebop on January 27, 2008) |

Pretty good deal! Dealership you're working with no longer carrying Buells? |

I'm on my way to the dealership this morning to do the deal. I went to a neighboring town yesterday and checked the prices of the Buells at a dealership there. They were also in the vicinity of the price I'm getting (by the way both bikes had the two up conversion which is another 400 bucks they say) but didn't really care for the color they had chosen for the conversion. Kowpow, both dealers are continuing to sell Buells. When I saw how close they were in price (couple hundred bucks) I was wondering if it was a special that Buell had come out with but the guy said no. Anyway the whole deal looks good. What really sold me this time of year is the 90 days no interest and 120 days no payments plus 5.99% interest rate if I need it, gives me time to sell one of my other bikes. This finance deal is put on by Buell or Harley. The second dealer did not have the financing advertised like the first, but they did say they would participate in it. Wondering if other parts of the country are also having deals like this? Can't figure out how to post to just one particular person...what am I missing here? |

WOW that is an awesome deal. Put up some pics when you get her. Not sure what to tell you about not riding behind a shield. I have never ridden behind one to tell you the difference. Personally love the open air. |

Get it you will love the bike. I got to ride one when I was a lead rider for our local demo days. It was by far the best bike of the day (besides mine). |

Riding behind a shield is like watching the storm from behind a sliding glass door. All the fun is on the other side. |

}can't figure out how to post to just one particular person...what am I missing here? Are you trying to contact one of the other user's? If so just place your pointer over their name and click it, that should bring up their profile, then scroll to the bottom of their page where you will see "send private message" If that isn't what you were asking about, overlook me. Oh and go get that bike! |
