Author Message   Speedy Posted on Sunday, January 27, 2008 - 11:58 am:        I've mounted an oil temp gauge in the feedline to the cooler. This reads no more dan 80F with an outside temp of 51.8F after an hour drive on the highway. So I removed the oil cooler cover and the right hand air scoop. This made things a little better but not much. The oil supply company claims the temp should be about 140F. This in order to get the most out of the working of the antioxidants. Drop a little on your skin and you will get seriously burnt. Ask me how I know! If it's 80def F it would feel cool to the touch.   Vester49 Posted on Sunday, January 27, 2008 - 11:34 pm:        Maybe your Temp Gauge is reading in Celsius? 80*C would be 176*F so that sounds a bit more realistic. The Engineers already did the work. You are asking for trouble.
