I am no longer Buell-less! I pick up Nickcaro's SS, and my first order of business is selling all the red crap, as its turning into a blue STT I can't wait |

Of course. This time I plan on riding both to and from Georgia. It should be more fun and worth it that way. |

If the flyscreen is in good shape I might be interested in taking it off your hands. Mine had a deep scratch on the side of it when I bought it. By red do you mean the sunset orange? You will love your bike. As hard as it is, the wait is worth it! Congrats on the purchase. |

Gschuette, I will let you know. I pretty much am buying the bike sight unseen as I haven't ridden with Nick since the summer. Mike, I forgot about that! I need to put some cigarette lighters under the seat so I can rig it up somehow |

one of the great benefits of the relationships that are created on this board. You can sell/buy a bike from someone without even seeing it. Frank, I wish I had taken the time to tell them to wash it before you arrived. I got so caught up with the "negotiations" that I just completely forgot. |

Nick, it is amazing what BadWeb will do to you. Buying a used bike that I haven’t seen in 6 months, without even test riding it or even another SS. The nick in the header was worse than I remember, but whatever. At the parking lot in Danbury, my buddy Mark almost did a wheelie accidently. He went to go move it into position while I got the truck, and him being used to needing to rev to at least 2500rpm on the 4 bangers, had an unanticipated jolt of torque when he let out the clutch. That afternoon I rode it up my driveway and almost launched into the garage door because being back on a Buell and the roar of the drummer was so beautiful, that I didn’t want to come to a stop. As for what I have in store for your bike: All budget and time permitting of course. As for the bike being muddy when I picked it up, I am glad they didn’t wash it. It would be a terrible waste of water. Brumbear, I will do it one way or another |

Froggy, Don't be bashful. Show everybody what it's really going to look like when you're done customizing it:

Saintly, you forgot to put it up on one wheel! Froggy - that's going to look cool. I really love when there's color on the wheels. |

lol, the sad part is that Saintly is right. My top priority right now is getting new riding gear, but once i got that things like GPS and heated grips are next. |
