Does the 900.00 price from HalsPa include the tail? |

Yes. I think I spent like $1100.00 all together. You get the main body fairing, the belly pan and the solo tail. It is all gel coated fiberglass, very nice quality, great fit. Only trimming I had to do was around exhaust outlet. The price I paid included the mounting kit which is not in the $900.00 you mentioned. But like I said, I was out the door at $1100.00 with everything you need. And the guys from Hal's will sit on the phone with you if need be. |

the more i look at that damn thing the more i like it. although i want to keep the 1125 front fairing i believe, even though i love my firebolts. i just think they need to do a little more tweaking on the body where it meets the frame line. mold it a little different in that area. i still cant seem to find out very much info on that thing. to bad i dont speak german and could just talk to the place that has that thing for sale. |

nice fairing on that 1125r, I kinda think they should have one anyways. That way when the S version comes out it will look all that much more different. Holy S**T I didnt even notice the firbolt fairing until I took double take...very nice work. those look like twist pins holding the plastics on, I dont know how I feel about that. You can put them on fast if your in a hurry to get on the bike i.e.-after repair/between heats. They also fall out easy, and running over plastic fairings with your back tire is a traction issue I dont wanna think about... |

+1 No_Rice and Barker Leave the 1125R Headlight fairing (instead of the XB12R headlight fairing) and hide the pods in a full fairing. Now melikey. |

IIRC this was done at a German Dealer. I have not been able to find the site or post where this was 1st posted. There is an 08' Buell in the window. Neil S. |

You can get Dzus fasteners in a few different configurations. The ones in the pictures are meant for use on race bikes for quick disassembly. |

Rob04xb12 I would say that you could swap these fairings with minimal work and not have to deal with the gauges. I'm waiting on an 1125 fairing for my race bike and after a fair amount of measuring on my 1125 and the Firebolt race bike I think it will be just about a bolt on. The 1125 fairing costs $132.00, windshield costs $60.00 and the headlights are $130.00 each. I think you'll see a lot of XB race bikes with the 1125 front this summer mainly for the aero advantage, at least that's why I'm switching. |

what a great way to make the lines of the bike flow. Excellent looking machine. I too would like to see it with the 1125 fairing. Barker, where'd you get those pics? |

Wow love the look of that 1125. Looks sweet. Forget the XB, if thats the way the bike came I would buy it first, then the XB. I agree with above post that the bike should have come that way. I want one of those. |

I like how it hides that hideous exhaust pipe so well. I'm wondering if Al at American Sport Bike will make an all-carbon coverup... |

Wow, what an improvement!! Buell need to hire the guy that did that before the bike goes on sale here in Europe. I would bet my bottom dollar it would improve sales over the stock plastics. It also carries on the Buell XB look so that people instantly recognise the brand, even without badges on... In fact, studying the pictures I would bet that this bike has been actually been modified in Europe (I'm guessing Buell Bonn or Hannover?) judging by the cars in the background and the Euro Spec 2008 bikes in the showroom.
