Since the other tread seems to be hinting to this as well I've got to ask. Anyone else have troubles with the fitament of theirs? I just purchased both front and rear, the rear is awesome, but front won't work really. Had to shave about 1/2 inch off the pin to make it so I can get through under the faring of my R and over the fender. But now the angle is way off and it binds when I lift the bike. The pin doesn't seem to want to go in and it binds. I've spoke with t-rex and they said this is the first they heard of this problem. I'm going to be taking a few pics and sending them to the company. Anyone else have this going on? |

I want to add though, my rear lift is awesome, and the front seems to be well built, just maybe not for the 'bolt. |

My Woodcraft triple tree stand does the same thing. There doesn't seem to be enough room to get the pin in the tree without the bar hitting the top of my fender. I just take off my fender before I lift the front, it would probably be the first thing off anyways. With the fender off I gain just enough angle for the pin to go in. |

I have the same lift, both front and rear and I have never experienced that problem. I use them both on my XB, S1 and S2... Recently while using the smallest shaft they supplied on my S1 triple tree the thing snapped in half. I sent a picture of the shaft to t-rex and in a couple of days I had a new one in the mail made out of stronger material... Great customer support. I know that does not help with your problem but I am sure T-rex will work with you to get it working right. |

Yeah, I'm feeling very confident whatever the problem is they will do all they can to help me out on it. I guess I'll pull off the fender before I try it again and see what that does. |

I believe the front suspension settings make a difference. Mine slips in. I do put a rag on the fender to avoid scratches. I also lift the front then the back. |

works fine for me! I love the complete set up! although the triple tree does take a good amount of ass to get in the air! |

Ya know I just bought some of these stands at X-Mas and my front also does that. Even after I took the fender off it did not fit "quite right", I mean it works and all but it seems like it will be a PITA when I go to put the bike back on the ground. The pin went in a bit snug when I lifted the bike, I can see that it will be fun to get it back out... The pin was a bit off in size/angle if ya ask me..... Let us know how you make out with this issue.... |

One word of advice (don't ask me how I know!) - DO NOT lift the front first - unless you have a buddy holding the bike upright before lifting the rear. |

Your right! Slaughter. I missed that. My wife always helps steady the bike. |

So a little modification on the pin. 1/2 inch shaved from the top, and a little rounding on it I decided to try it again. This time with the help of a little 5w30 on the pin and lifting the bike a couple times to get out some of the sag it slipped right in and fits great. Still very happy with my stands and the customer service they gave while I was figuring this out |

I have the the T-Rex front as well. No issues it came with multiple size pins. I do have to remove the front fender to fit it underneath though. |
