What should I do to clean and preserve them? Is a soft soap and water and neatsfoot ok to use?   Jaimec Posted on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 - 09:51 am:        I'd use saddle soap or Lexol cleaner, and then a good leather cream. Be careful with Neatsfoot oil and make sure it is pure and doesn't contain any petroleum-based additives or that'll eat the stitching.
